Hi, I’m Emma, a designer working primarily in architecture, textiles, and furniture design. Much of my work is influenced by my year spent living in Copenhagen and my love for fiber arts.

The Frame Chair

I designed and fabricated this chair while living in Copenhagen. It's made of bamboo, woven cane, and upholstery. The whole chair comes apart to flat-pack for easy transportation and can be assembled without any tools or hardware. In the box, you’ll find four frames and two cushions — no additional hardware or small pieces needed. Simply fit the back and sides together, slide in the seat, and add the cushions.
